About the edition

This edition was designed in 2015 by DHP Daedalus as part of a study of the historical uses of lead bullets and include original photos found in the print version of the book.

While not explicit in this text, the development of lead tipped bullets originated during British colonial times in India. Termed "dum-dum" bullets, these munitions solved the problem of high-velocity rounds fully penetrating the target but not stopping him. Instead, the soft lead expanded on impact causing greater harm and injury.

The Hague outlawed the use of the these munitions in war due to their excessive inhumanity. They are still used by police on civilization populations.
